Golden Sunrise

This piece immediately caught my eye when I was browsing through my deviations inbox. It stood out because of the vibrant colours and its 'epic' ambience. I really like the contrast of the silhouette of the tree against the sun and how you caught some of the rays between the leaves. Yet I still think the image is very calm and simple, mainly because the smooth transition of the colours, blue to brown. I can imagine being awestruck by seeing this in real life and you managed to capture some of that feeling in this photo.
