Old Tiles

The really gorgeous things about this image in my opinion are a combination of how the light fell on the tiles, all the way into the background, and your choice of depth of field. Together, they make for an image that may not... contain anything that exciting or really a focal point you are drawn to, but overall create a sense of... hmm... summer? It makes me think of sitting on the roof as the sunlight filters over branches and falls on my face. The only thing that I might like to see isn't necessarily a negative critique, just a personal preference. I would like to see more of the foreground extended both to the right and left- more of the path or roof or whatever these tiles compose. Overall though, this is a deviation that elicits warm feelings, calming and comfortable.
